Navigation recording (PostHog): besides counting events, PostHog records navigation around the store —clicks, scrolling and pages viewed— to see where the buying process gets stuck. Form fields are always masked, so what you type is not recorded, and checkout is NOT recorded: recording stops as soon as you enter it. It only works with your analytics consent and stops the moment you withdraw it.

† Not a cookie but a browser localStorage entry: it has no expiry date and is not sent with every request. Using “Manage cookies” (section 4) cuts the identity and stops the measurement; what remains is a fresh unused identifier and the record of your refusal, which is what makes it possible to remember it. To remove it entirely, clear the site data.
